AFS CW Results for 2008

This year the Brede Steam ARS, unfortunately, only had one member taking part in the CW competition. Even so a creditable 72nd place was awarded to Tony, G4KLF, for his 155 contacts which gave him a total of 1550 point, well done Tony. The winning team were   Three As CG ‘A'    with a total of 10850 points, well done to them.

Next year maybe a few other members would like to try their hand at CW and give Tony a helping hand. The club can have up to four members in the team all working from their own shack. We then add all the scores together to give a team score.

In the SSB competition three members took part, Antony, Steve and Tony. Scores were as follows;

G4CUS 2250, M0SSR 1820, G4KLF 700 making a total of 4770. This put us in 28th position which was better than last years 46th.

Again, the club can have up to 4 members taking part and all working from their own shack, so why not give it a go.
